The world can only become a better place by harnessing the power of people working together.

Our mission is to preserve human-only features, and this can never occur using “black mirror filters” or nanny algorithms that decide for us what show us or what content is best instead of hearing about things from other humans in our interactions with them.

We know that finding the perfect location or decoration are not the most important things. Instead, the most important part of your social life is the people you spend time with. Socialmeet is distinct from other services in that it tries to solve the networking problem because we are centered around insights helping people with their social skills. For example, many talented people are shy and need help initiating conversations with new people, leading to loneliness, isolation, shallow conversations, etc.

When you have the sensation that you already know them, it does not make sense to attend events with the same people or see the same speakers and talk with people with the same mindset. It is like a boring movie that you have seen repeatedly.

All of them could be members of the Meritocracy because we do not measure whether a person studied at Harvard, MIT or Yale, or how much money they have, we measure how people impact the world.

The key to Socialmeet is to attract users of skill and influence by blending a focus on merit with a fun and collegial attitude. The club will be global but is starting by co-hosting social gatherings for members in the San Francisco Bay Area and Peru, where we have a huge network that operates through four platforms.
